Details
Vessels of this calibre don't come along very often. "Kinkuna" (which means curvy, sexy and a good looking sort... Sorry that's just my opinion, the real meaning is Place of Laughter) is a very much loved and impeccably maintained power catamaran designed by Shawn Arber and professionally built by Shipwright Mark Chippendale (Chippie)
Kinkuna is a stunning combination of space, comfort, economy, reliability and is a very capable vessel at sea.
Designed to be efficient and extremely economical, comfortably cruising at 10-11 knts at a little over 1 ltr per nautical mile. That's not much more than the same size sailing cat (under motor) but doing twice the speed, allowing you to arrive at your next destination early in the day to explore, stretch your legs on that deserted white sandy beach and enjoy a safe arrival aperitif.
Chippie and Jen, spent 10 years building / creating Kinkuna to be their forever boat. I'm not sure if anyone told them that there wasn't a prize for building the best boat possible but if there was, Kinkuna would be covered in blue ribbons.
Stepping aboard through walk through transoms into a large cockpit with plenty of room to entertain friends and family. A comfortable saloon with all round vision, galley down to starboard with wall oven, 2 burner De Longhi and Wok burner. Owner's cabin aft with guest accommodation forward, toilet and shower port side aft.
The owner being the owner has prepared the boat for sale in as new condition, ensuring many many years of trouble free boating for her next custodian.
- 9 months refit including complete re-paint
- New windows
- New batteries
- New cockpit covers
- New silent flush toilet
- New SS BBQ
Kinkuna has also been recently slipped, with fresh antifoul, prop-speed and her motors serviced.
Photo's truly don't do her justice, for an inspection that won't disappoint
